Doesn't time fly? We're now into the middle of February and in the second edition of our 'self-love' series we're talking about 'movement'...
Physical activity has a huge potential to enhance our wellbeing. Even a short burst of exercise increases our mental alertness, energy and positive mood - and that's another great example of 'self-love'.
But I'm not talking about lacing up your trainers and running a marathon, or hopping on your bike for a 50 mile sprint, even a brisk 30 minute walk is enough to release those 'happy' chemicals known as endorphins which reduce pain and boost pleasure, resulting in a feeling of well-being.
If you fancy something a little slower you could try Pilates or yoga - I love the free yoga videos from 'Yoga with Adriene' found here.
Again, this doesn't need to take up lots of time.... a short session will help you feel amazing and ready to tackle the world.
'For me, exercise is more than just physical - it's therapeutic.'
Michelle Obama
Whether its walking, running, cycling or yoga get some movement in your life.
